The aim of the course is to present core problems related to multiculturalism in international relations. Students participating in the course in winter 2019 will have an opportunity to understand cultural challenges related to the concept and policies of multiculturalism, as well as to reflect on multicultural setting in relation to their country of origin. The course ends with written exam. The final note is a combination of the note from written exam and active participation in the course. For those who due to external reasons (visa problems, health issues) could not participate in the course on regular basis there is an obligatory oadditional task: short essay on the topic agreed with the teacher and closely related to the topic of the course. All assigned readings will be made available in electronic format – please check your group mailbox regularly! |
